Bauro Martin Jr grew up on Butaritari and plays his club football for Tekinati FC. At 19, he became the first player known to score four goals for Kiribati’s senior team, and went on to win the IDC Golden Boot with six goals in four matches.
Oceania Football Center spoke to him about his journey from the outer islands to the IDC.
